Mionetto, much more than just a Prosecco!

Made primarily from the Glera grape, Prosecco is an Italian sparkling wine which develops its sparkle in stainless steel vats. It can be enjoyed neat or as a spritz cocktail for an aperitif.

Prosecco is a sparkling wine produced in the Veneto region of north-eastern Italy around the hills of Valdobbiadene, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Historically made as a white wine, the first rosé Proseccos emerged in 2021! It is a controlled appellation of origin (Denominazione di Origine Controllata: DOC) governed by the DOC Consortium.

Prosecco is made from Glera (making up a minimum of 85%), the ideal grape variety thanks to its low sugar levels, high acidity and fresh aromas. Other grape varieties are used in smaller quantities: local grapes such as Verdiso or Perera, or other more international grapes.

Fruity and floral, the vibrancy and freshness of this Italian sparkling wine make it a perfect aperitif, served either neat in a coupe or in a cocktail such as a spritz.
